Path of Yoga is a dedicated yoga school that directs all of its efforts to training future yoga teachers, helping them find a voice and deepen their personal practice. Over the years, they have worked hard to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that would put every student at ease.
At Path of Yoga, although previously acquired experience is desired, everyone is welcome, regardless of their ability level or yogic inclination. Truly, it is more prevalent to consider the individual circumstances of each person who wishes to join their program.
The training courses are centered around a strong, dynamic Vinyasa practice intermeshed with traditional Hatha yoga. In short, this allows the participants to have options upon graduation, offering both classes as part of their teaching. Both the 200-hour and 300-hour YTT programs follow a Yoga Alliance approved curriculum, ensuring that your certification allows you to teach at every corner of the world.
200-hour yoga teacher training is particularly designed to help the trainees succeed in their new career. By the end of this course, each student will have had the opportunity to not only study the materials provided and work closely with the facilitators, they will also have taught several classes to fellow trainees, leaving them feeling confident and ready to teach out ‘in the real world’!
Those who have already completed the foundation course (whether it is with Path of Yoga or elsewhere) may be interested in their 300-hour advanced level training. Held in Thailand or India, and led by James French, this program is an immersive experience that delves into the intricacies of the ancient practice and enables you to develop professionally. On completion, the trainees will have acquired the RYT-500 qualification, allowing them to design and conduct training courses of their own.
Since its conception, Path of Yoga has worked with hundreds of people from all over the world. If you are still on the fence, the glowing testimonials from their graduates speak for themselves!
